Contura 900 Style has won the Red Dot Design Award: Product Design 2026! The Red Dot Design Award is presented annually by the German Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen and is one of the world’s most recognised marks of quality in design. Over the years, Contura has received several international design awards. This recognition for Contura 900 Style confirms our position as a leading player in modern wood-burning stove design. The design has been developed in collaboration with Myra, part of Prevas. Contura 900 Style is an elliptical wood-burning stove that combines generous glass areas, advanced technology and flexible design, offering an impressive fire experience. The spacious combustion chamber allows you to build the fire vertically and use longer logs, ensuring both practical and efficient heating. The large glass panels, at the front and on the sides, provide maximum visibility of the flames and enhance the sense of warmth and presence in the room.
Choose freely among colors and shapes
Contura 900 Style is available in different colors, materials and heights, so you're able to find your favourite wood stove. From classic black and modern white, to soapstone which gives each stove a unique and natural veining. With or without side glass.
In the Contura 900 Style series we let the fire take more place in stove than ever before.The very spacious combustion chamber makes it possible to build the fire up in height which makes the firing easier and more practical. As an example, you can place up to 40 cm long logs. But we don't end there. The glass sections on the Contura 900 are now bigger than on any of our previous models, both for the door and side glass.With Contura 900 you get a warmer impression and more fire to enjoy.
Automatic start for quicker ignition, boost function to bring the embers back to life and our silent ashtry are some of the innovative features we have developed at Contura. They make it eaiser for you to start and maintain the fire, but also help you feel safer when the fire is burning.
BPF - Bypass function
Opening the stove door to a Contura 900 Style also opens a bypass damper. The bypass damper is designed to capture smoke and minimize the risk of smoke entering the room.
