Information regarding the processing of personal data

NIBE AB, reg. no. 556056-4485 processes your personal data in connection with ordering brochure, to be contacted by a retailer and when you use our apps. We care about your integrity and therefore want to provide you with information regarding the processing of your personal data.

The data controller

The purpose and legal basis for the processing

We process your personal data by save it to a database, print labels, in some cases send the information to a reseller and then delete your data. The personal data stored by us is name, address, e-mail, telephone number. The purpose of the processing to deliver your brochure or service you selected.

The legal basis for our processing of your personal data as described above is that this processing is necessary for our legitimate interests. This treatment is performed based on your consent. You may at any time withdraw your consent.

It is necessary for us to collect the personal data in order to complete your order. You are not obliged to provide the personal data to us. If you do not provide us with the personal data described above, the consequences will be that we may not be able to provide the requested services to you.

 

Contura Connect (APP)

This policy applies to any data collected by the app Contura Connect which NIBE receives and processes on you according to agreement. NIBE is the controller of all collected data.

The personal data processed by Contura Connect are your phone’s id or tablet´s (unit´s) number, information about the unit’s Google account, ip number and the unit’s account number when Contura Connect  is used on Android.

We will control the storage space on your unit for the purpose of downloading images from Contura Connects interface (e.g. icons and background images). We can change and erase our downloaded images stored locally at your unit. The images are NIBE’s property. NIBE does not access your personal images stored in the unit. The purpose of the processing is to enable higher efficiency and speed for Contura Connect.

 

The above information will be stored (responsible NIBE) for the time necessary to perform the agreement entered into between you and NIBE. NIBE may also store your data in order to comply with applicable law or government orders.

We have taken several precautionary measures to protect your personal data, such as encryption of data and firewalls. We also follow the generally accepted standards in the industry.

Who has access to your personal data?

Your personal information is forwarded to, and used by us and our business partners in France for the above purposes.

 

For how long do we store your personal data?

We store your personal data as long as necessary to fulfil the above mentioned purpose of the processing. However, we do not store your personal data longer than two (2) years.

 

Your rights

If the processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw the consent at any time. However, such withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data based on the consent before the withdrawal. You have the right to request access to information regarding which of your personal data that is being processed and request rectification of your personal data. You also have the right to object to and request restriction of the processing concerning your personal data, as well as the right to request erasure of your personal data. You also have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and the right to transmit those data to another controller (data portability).
